Let us pray. Almighty God~ we celebrate the freedom to assemble~ as demonstrated on April 15th by over 600~000 Americans in over 800 cities around America~ who simultaneously attended TEA parties~ protesting 2-trillion dollars of annual taxation and deficit spending by the Obama Administration and the Democrats in Congress. God we pray for an uprising like Habakkuk 2:7~ “Will not your debtors suddenly arise? Won’t they wake up and make you tremble? You will become their victim.” God give us an anti-tax revolution in the next elections. In Jesus’ name~ Amen.

2. Monday 20 Apr 09 One-Minute Prayer:

WHITE HOUSE ORDERS GEORGETOWN TO COVER UP THE NAME OF JESUS

Let us pray. Almighty God~ last week The White House ordered Georgetown University to hide and cover up a stage-display with the name of Jesus~ during a speech by President Obama. Even worse~ the staffers at Georgetown~ which is a Catholic~ Jesuit~ and faith-based institution~ quickly complied~ and covered up Jesus’ name with a black cloth~ so the President wouldn’t be embarrassed by standing under Jesus’ name. We pray Luke 9:26~ that if anyone is ashamed of Jesus~ then Jesus will be ashamed of him on judgment day. In Jesus’ name~ Amen.

HOMELAND SECURITY SECRETARY JANET NAPOLITANO DECLARES WAR ON THE RIGHT

Let us pray. Almighty God~ this week Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano defended a controversial police training report that labeled pro-life activists~ military veterans~ illegal immigration opponents~ gun owners~ and states rights advocates as right wing extremists and potential terrorists. God we rejoice with 2nd Thessalonians 1:4 when the government labels us and persecutes Christian patriotism and political dissent. We pray that Secretary Napolitano will repent of her political bias~ encouraging policemen everywhere to protect our right to assembly~ in Jesus’ name. Amen.

4. Wednesday 22 Apr 09 One-Minute Prayer:

SENATE TO VOTE ON PRO-ABORTION DECEIVER KATHLEEN SEBELIUS FOR HHS

Let us pray. Almighty God~ this week we pray the Senate will rise up and defeat the nomination of the pro-abortion Secretary of Health and Human Services~ Kathleen Sebelius~ who not only accepted over $200~000 in political contributions from late-term abortion doctor George Tiller~ but she apparently lied to Senators claiming she only received about $12~000 in blood money. God~ even if she only took $1 in bloody abortion money to get elected~ we pray for her defeat from Proverbs 29:2~ because “when the wicked rule~ the people groan.” We pray in Jesus’ name~ Amen.

HOUSE WILL VOTE ON "HATE CRIMES" THIS WEEK: YOUR PASTOR CRIMINALIZED?

Let us pray. Almighty God~ this week we pray for defeat of the “Hate Crimes” bill~ which is up for vote in the House of Representatives~ which would criminalize free speech in churches~ whenever pastors quote the Bible against the sin of homosexuality. When violent offenders later commit crimes against gays~ innocent pastors will be blamed and charged with inciting violence. So we pray Proverbs 27:5~ better is open rebuke than hidden love. We show love to all sodomites out there~ by openly rebuking the sins and demons that live in their hearts~ in Jesus’ name~ Amen.
