Let us pray. Almighty God, we are horrified that the Dr. Phil Show recently portrayed parents that want to kill their disabled children as being “merciful.” We pray that you would end the culture of death that has been invited into this nation. Forgive Your people for being silent about the sanctity of life and for not defending the helpless, for you promise, “How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The Lord will deliver him in a day of trouble” (Psa. 41:1). Our nation is in trouble, and we are desperate for your deliverance, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
