Black Pastors Oppose NAACP’s Support for Homosexual Marriage

Let us pray. Almighty God, we thank you that the Coalition of African American Pastors has launched a petition to oppose homosexual marriage and has denounced publicly the NAACP’s recent endorsement of gay marriage. Your Word says, “But let justice run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream” (Amos 5:24). In their efforts to uphold civil rights for people, we pray that you would help civil rights organizations to embrace Your justice and righteousness together, as 70% of black voters did in California for Proposition 8, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
