Supreme Court Justice David Souter Retiring
Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray for you intervene in the selection process for the next Supreme Court Justice, since liberal Justice David Souter just announced he will retire. God we pray for a miracle, that you will confuse our pro-abortion President into selecting a pro-life, pro-marriage Justice, and appoint a moral conservative to the bench, the same way President George H. W. Bush got confused when he appointed Souter. We pray Psalm 75:7, that God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another. In Jesus name, Amen.

Swine Flu Spreads Around the Globe
Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray for your protection this week, against the H1N1 influenza virus, formerly known as the swine flu or the avian bird flu, which is now spreading around the globe in unprecedented pandemic proportions, and killing people not only in Mexico, but in Europe and now here in America. We pray it will not develop into one of the natural disasters which Jesus predicted in Matthew 24 as a sign of the end. God do not destroy us, but forgive our sins. In Jesus name, Amen.

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter Switches Parties
Let us pray. Almighty God, today we pray for Pennslvania, who was betrayed by Senator Arlen Specter, who abandoned the pro-life, pro-marriage Republican party to join the pro-abortion, pro-homosexual Democrat party, and for the sake of selfish preservation, put the entire nation in jeopardy of a 60-seat filibuster-proof evil majority. God help Pennsylvania elect a true conservative, and defeat Arlen Specter in the 2010 election. We pray from Isaiah 21:2, the traitor betrays, the looter takes loot. God, help us attack, and bring to an end all the groaning he caused. In Jesus name, Amen.

Almighty God, today we thank you for the courage of the high church court of the United Methodist Church, who overruled some regional voters, and forbid all Methodist ministers nationwide from performing homosexual weddings. God we pray from Isaiah 5:20, Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. We pronounce God’s woe upon evildoers, and we pronounce God’s blessing upon marriage between one man and one woman. In Jesus name, Amen.

Almighty God, today we pray for your protection upon our American troops, who now stand nearly alone to defend democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan, since Britain has announced they’re pulling out. We also pray against the Taliban Muslim Sharia terrorists who are taking over Pakistan, and we pray Pakistan’s nuclear weapons do not fall into the hands of anti-American extremists. We pray Psalm 33, God Bless Israel and America, for blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. In Jesus name, Amen.

Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray for your protection, as we plan a big pro-life rally at Notre Dame University, at the same time President Obama promotes his pro-abortion views at that beloved Catholic Institution. God we thank you for the courage of former U.S. ambassador to the Vatican, Mary Ann Glendon, who would rather refuse an award than appear on stage with Obama. God we pray from Exodus 23:8 and thou shall take no gift: for the gift blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. In Jesus name, Amen.

State Department Updates List of Persecuting Nations.
Let us pray. Almighty God, today we pray for you to protect religious liberty in foreign nations, especially in Russia, Turkey, Laos, Somalia, Tajikistan and Venezuela, who just joined the State department’s list of persecutors, alongside Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba and Egypt, who were already on the list. We pray from Revelation 2:10, that even if the devil puts some of us in prison to test us, and we suffer persecution, we will be faithful, even to the point of death, and God will give us the crown of life. In Jesus name, Amen.
