Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we are outraged that the cross which has been displayed outside a chapel on an isolated military base in Afghanistan has been removed, due to an unconstitutional Army regulation which claims no permanent display of religious symbols can be affixed to a chapel, prompting outrage from American service members who say the cross brings great comfort. Officers admit nobody complained about the cross since its display in October. From 1 Corinthians 1:18, the cross is foolish to those perishing, but to the saved, it is the power of God, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
